Episode Zero

Welcome to episode zero of Talk to the Left. I’m Jason Rigden and I will be your host. This podcast is going to be an interview show.   

I'm going to talk to people all over the world that are fighting for left-wing politics. People fighting authoritarianism and fascism. The People fighting for truth, justice, equality, and freedom.   

This is not going to be yet another show where people just yell at each other or complain about the world. We’ll be talking to people that are solving problems and making the world a better place.   

We will be listening to the voices so often ignored by corporate media.   

By sharing their stories, I’ll try to educate, inspire, and give you hope for the future. And if there is anything we need more of right now, it is hope.  

So, I need your help. Talk to the left is looking for guests.  If you want to be on the show or would like to suggest a guest, please just email me. Jason@talktotheleft.com   

Specifically, I’m looking for guests that can represent some kind of project.  

It could be anything from a Twitter account to a large NGO. A book, a podcast, or an activist group. I’ll be interviewing the guest as a representative of the project.   

The interviews are short. On average about only 20 minutes long. I ask the following questions and any natural follow ups.  

Tell me about the problem you are trying to solve.   

How are you trying to solve this problem?   

What are the challenges of solving this problem?   

What are your plans for the future?
